- Im a single mother of two trying to surivive in todays world. I work as a seasonal employee for the IRS. I hope to become a perm in OCT. Wish me luck.
At the same time I became a single mother I also became my mothers sole care giver. My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 1994, which she survived until the cancer came back in other places. My mother died this past December 5, 2008. I was lucky enough to spend the the last 18 months of her life with her.
I am now in the process of discovering the new me, divorced, I just lost my mother and I am the only parent for my children. Things have been tough but I have a good heart and a great spirit that so far there has been nothing that has come my way that I have not been able to deal with. It might get me down for a day or two but the blessing is I always see the good in life and people.
I formed a team to run for the cure of breast cancer in Oct. 24, 2009 in fresno ca. I encourage all of you to join me or to donate online at race.komencentralvalley.org my team is called The Pink Daisies.
