Joseph (Joe) Irwin is an electric bass/contra-bassist and is based in Sacramento, California.

Joe Irwin started his career as a trombonist/bassist in Columbus, Ohio and has performed as a professional musician for over 50 years.

As a member of the United States Air Force Band program, Joe served and performed principality as an electric and acoustic bassist.
As a musical director, Joe has lead, arranged for, and directed bands in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, as well as the continental United States.

Joe's performances for notables include Presidents Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, and Clinton; the members of Government and Royalty for England, Wales, Scotland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Luxemburg, Greece, Italy, and the Vatican; and members of The United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

Joe has performed, directed, and written music worldwide, and his arrangements were featured on RaiTV, Naples, Italy.

Joe continues to perform with the top entertainers and performers of the Sacramento and Bay area as well with various local and regional musical and theater productions.
