With the negative fiscal effects of the bad economy, many California cities have been faced with having to reduce spending for law enforcement services. My question is, have you noticed an increase in crime in your community and what types?

I have been fortunate enogh not to see much of an increase in crime in my comunitee. I have noticed that there aren't as many patrol cars in my neighborhood, and about the worst thing I've noticed is more people are smokeing weed in public with less worrie of being busted. Other than that, I stay in after dark and don't put myself in harms way.
